Privacy Policy
This policy explains how More.is.More s.r.o. handles personal data in Meydn: the website meydn.com, the web app at app.meydn.com with its account at accounts.meydn.com, and the iOS app.
1Who we are
The controller is More.is.More s.r.o., Pernerova 635/57, 186 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, IČO 05210275, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 260062. For anything about your data, write to info@moreismore.cz.
2Your photos
Meydn corrects your photos on your own device, in your browser or on your iPhone. We do not receive your photos or the corrected versions. Purchases in the iOS app are handled by Apple through the App Store. If you sign in within the iOS app, the rest of this policy applies as it does to the web app.
3What we process, why, and for how long
- Account: your email address, name, sign-in details, the terms you accepted (with the time, IP address and browser at that moment), and security events. Why: to provide the account (contract), and to show what was agreed and protect the account (legitimate interest). Kept: until you close the account, and up to 37 days after, while the deletion completes.
- Purchases: what you bought, the amount, the date, your credit balance, and your confirmation before paying that you want access straight away. Why: to provide what you bought (contract), and accounting and consumer law (legal obligation). Kept: up to 10 years, as accounting law requires; the confirmation 3 years.
- Service emails, such as sign-in links and receipts. Why: to provide the account (contract). Kept: as part of the account.
- Newsletter, only if you subscribe. Why: your consent. Kept: until you unsubscribe.
- Trial without an account: a random identifier in a cookie, and a one-way hash of your IP address and browser. Why: to keep the free trial to its stated size (legitimate interest). Kept: the hash 30 days, the identifier 400 days.
- Server logs: IP address, time, browser and the page requested. Why: security and troubleshooting (legitimate interest). Kept: 30 days.
- Visit statistics: the page, the referring site, your browser, device type, language and country, counted on our own server without a cookie and without storing your IP address. Why: to know how Meydn is used (legitimate interest). Kept: as statistics that cannot be linked to you after the day of the visit.
- Advertising measurement with Meta, only if you accept it (section 4). Why: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Kept: until you withdraw it.
- Your emails to us. Why: to answer you (legitimate interest). Kept: as long as the matter needs.
You can use Meydn without giving us anything. An account needs an email address; without one you can still correct photos and export them with a watermark.
4Meta, only if you accept
If you choose Accept all in the cookie banner, Meta receives, from your browser and for some actions also from our server: the pages you visit, actions such as starting a checkout, creating an account or completing a purchase with its amount, your IP address, browser and device details, and the identifiers in Meta's cookies. If you use Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta can link this to your account there. We never send your name, email address or Meydn account ID. We use it to learn which ads bring people to Meydn and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
We and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. are joint controllers for collecting and sending this data; what Meta does with it afterwards is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. You can exercise your rights with either of us. Cookie settings, at the bottom of meydn.com and the web app, withdraws your consent at any time.
5Who else receives data
- Stripe, for payments: our processor for the payment, and an independent controller for its own legal duties such as fraud prevention.
- Google or Apple, only if you sign in with them or buy in the App Store, as independent controllers.
- Meta, only with your consent (section 4).
- Our hosting provider (servers in Finland) and email delivery providers, as our processors.
Some of these providers, or companies in their groups, are in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses; write to us for a copy. We do not sell personal data.
7Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of its processing, and a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what happened before. In your account you can download your data or delete the account; for anything else, write to info@moreismore.cz. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.cz.
